MedwayBuilders.com is run by Zynaptix Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 17220412), registered office Unit 13 Precision 2 Industrial Estate, Bingham Road, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 3TR. We are the controller of the details you send through this website. Contact us about anything in this notice at info@medwaybuilders.com.
MedwayBuilders.com is not a building company. We pass enquiries to independent local builders, and the builders pay us for introductions.
When you send the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the type of job and anything you write about your project. With it we record the page you sent it from, the time, and your IP address, which helps us stop spam and misuse.
We pass your enquiry to one or more independent local builders who cover your area and do that kind of work, so they can contact you about your project. We do this because you ask us to and tick the box on the form to agree to it (consent).
We keep a record of each enquiry and use the technical details above to prevent spam and fraud and to deal with any questions or complaints. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in running the service safely.
We don't use your details for marketing, and we don't pass them to anyone other than builders for the project you asked about.
Each builder we pass your enquiry to becomes responsible for your details from then on, as a separate controller under UK data protection law, and their own privacy notice applies when they contact you. Any quote, contract and payment is between you and the builder.
We keep enquiries for 12 months and then delete them. The spam-prevention record of your IP address is kept for one hour. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for a limited period for security.
Your enquiry is stored with our web hosting and email providers. If any of them processes data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, as UK law requires.
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, object to how we use them, or ask us to restrict their use. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@medwaybuilders.com; it won't affect anything we did before you withdrew it, and we will ask any builder we passed your details to, to delete them.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
This website doesn't set cookies. Its fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which see your IP address.
